Peer Reviewer Process

All submitted manuscripts are initially reviewed by the editorial staff. Manuscripts deemed inappropriate to the journal’s criteria are promptly rejected without external review. Manuscripts considered to be of potential interest to our readership are sent for a double-blind peer review. Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editors will decide whether the manuscript should be rejected, requires major revision, needs minor revision, or is accepted.

The editor-in-chief of the IJMIB: Indonesian Journal of Management & Islamic Business has the final authority to decide which manuscripts will be published.

Review Process:

  1. Author submits the manuscript.
  2. Editor’s evaluation (some manuscripts may be rejected or returned before the review process).
  3. Double-blind peer review.
  4. Editor’s decision.
  5. Confirmation to the authors.
