The global gelatin industry faces a dilemma between economic efficiency and sharia compliance due to the dominance of non-halal supply chains and weak raw material traceability systems. This condition affects not only the halal status of products, but also transaction validity and consumer legal certainty within international halal trade. This study aims to analyze the dialectics of fiqh muamalah in determining the halal status of gelatin and to reconstruct the role of fiqh muamalah in addressing gharar, tadlis, and sharia compliance issues in the modern halal industry. This study employs normative-legal research based on library research using fiqh muamalah and halal science approaches. Data were analyzed through descriptive-analytical content analysis. The findings reveal that differing interpretations of istihalah have resulted in the absence of uniform halal standards for gelatin in global industries. From the perspective of fiqh muamalah, this condition creates regulatory gharar, potential tadlis, and weak transaction object certainty due to the lack of supply chain transparency. This study argues that traceability systems function not only as industrial technical instruments, but also as sharia mechanisms to ensure transaction clarity, consumer protection, and halal legal certainty. Therefore, fatwa harmonization and strengthening halal regulations are necessary within global halal industry governance.
